DR. Kelly Alvarado-Young is a strategic program leader, facilitator, coach, and wellness visionary dedicated to creating inclusive, high-impact spaces where Latinas and marginalized communities can heal, lead and thrive. As a New York born First-generation Puertorican Latina, Mami, and Scholar now living in Central Florida, she saw the importance of creating a wellness space for other high-achieving women to address how our culture influences how we nurture and care for ourselves.

Dr. Kelly holds a Ph.D. in Adult Education, is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher and a Reiki Level II practitioner. She is the founder and “la jefa” of La Brega Yoga Flow & Wellness, a healing-centered community created when the COVID-19 pandemic required her to pause, reflect and radically realign. When she couldn’t find a wellness space that honored immigrant stories, generational trauma and cultura, she built one.

La Brega invites Latina womxn+ to break cycles of trauma, heal from domestic violence and cultivate confidence, authenticity and rest as resistance. Through yoga, meditation and wellness coaching, Dr. Kelly supports clients in developing emotional intelligence, authentic leadership and resilient problem-solving skills that enhance both personal and professional growth.

With a background in higher education and a foundation in organizational psychology, Dr. Kelly brings a dialogue-based, identity-aware lens to every engagement. She has designed and facilitated experiences ranging from immersive week-long retreats to focused leadership workshops, always centering engagement, reflection and collective growth. Whether coaching aspiring leaders, speaking with MBA students or building programs from the ground up, she is driven by connection, clarity and meaningful impact.

When she is not working her day job as a Principal Talent Partner at LinkedIn. She is hanging with her nene lindo, Landon, partner Matt, and their sweet furbabies Remy Dog, Bree and Gatita. A lover of ALL THINGS DISNEY, she is a Disney annual passholder finding the magic in everyday life.
