Lisa Martinez, MBA, is a strategic advisor and executive leader who helps nonprofits adapt and thrive in dynamic, high-stakes environments. Her work builds the capabilities, clarity and confidence required to deliver measurable financial and market results.

Lisa is the former Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for Lee Health, a $3B integrated health system, where she created the organization’s inaugural strategy and innovation division. In this role, she sharpened enterprise decision-making amid intensifying competition and financial pressures, secured board approval for a three-year competitive strategy and service line expansions, launched a systemwide innovation program and piloted a new digitally enabled care delivery model.

Lisa has held senior leadership roles at AARP, including Vice President of Business Optimization and Director of Health Products & Services for AARP Services, Inc.. She led AARP’s successful bid to earn the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2020 and directed a portfolio of eight licensing relationships and 15+ products and services generating $40 million in annual royalty revenue and nearly one million consumer engagements. Under her leadership, royalty revenue and engagements grew by as much as 15% and 17% respectively.

Known for her steady presence and ability to lead boards and C-suites through ambiguity, Lisa builds trust quickly and creates high-performing teams aligned around clear priorities. She combines rigorous strategy and planning with practical execution—translating complexity into focused action at pivotal organizational moments.

Lisa has a passion and gift for developing others through formal reporting relationships and mentoring relationships. She has co-designed leadership development programs and launched peer-to-peer learning communities.
