Michelle is a serial entrepreneur and CEO of the global training and consulting firm Explora International. She is co-author of the best-selling book, Decoding Silicon Valley: The Insider’s Guide. Michelle became an entrepreneur at age 17 and sold the company within 2 years. She later pioneered Silicon Valley Best Practices Training Programs in 2004 for startups, corporations, investors, mentor networks, and regional ecosystem partners. Michelle has worked in > 65 countries as a consultant and trainer on startup scaling, corporate innovation and growth, strategy, entrepreneurship, Silicon Valley best practices, and resilience during tough times. She has been featured in many international print media including Arab News, Agazeta Brasil, Veja Brasil, Korea Times, Forbes Japan, Estonian Public Broadcasting, along with broadcast media in Peru, Serbia, China, Mexico, and Tunisia. In addition to serving on the Board of LatinaVIDA, Michelle is board member at both Startup Chile and Innovation Center Denmark, and a NASDAQ Author-in-Residence. She bilingual in English and Spanish, and currently studying Portuguese.
